Hero: ($400) WM 64 years old, viewed as weak/tight.

V1 ($150) WM middle 50s LAG,likes to play lots of pots, have seen him shown down 84s. Q8s for winning and 2nd best flush. Will always take a shot at the pot if checked to him with a small bet.

V2: ($300) WM early 20s, hasn't been at table long, seems more TAG. Will go to the river with TP decent kicker ie AJ or KQ.

V1: UTG limps in, two more limpers to V2 in HJ who limps, Hero limps from button with AT

SB completes and BB calls.

Pot: $14

Flop: KQ8

Blinds check to V1 who bets $5, two folds to V2 who calls, Hero calls, blinds fold.

V1 bets$5, V2 calls, Hero??

So, what is the best way to handle this:

call and hope one of the villian's catches a good card on the river or raise and maybe lose both of them.

Raise 100%. You want to play for stacks. You won't do that by calling an lol$5 bet OTT. I make it $25, which is a little smaller than I make it without the immortal nuts, but I want to up my chances of someone coming along.

The bad news is that with a scary board, a lock on the nuts, second nuts (AdXd) and third nuts (TdXd) and a weak/tight image, you aren't getting a lot of calls. The good news is that if you do, you're winning a much larger pot, and if you don't, you weren't winning much more on this hand anyway.

I raise to $25 / $30. Kx and draws can think we're stealing but plenty of rivers kill our action. Also, we can't just call min bets all day long and expect to get paid, NLHE, clue is in the name.

I think you should have raised pre, you have position. Doing this makes the pot bigger on later streets.

Raise to prob $20ish or bigger. Get some money in there widdit.
