Hero- 20 youngest player in the game have only been at the table for about an orbit and haven't played any hands yet ($75)
Villan- mid 30s white male been splashing around limping almost every hand haven't seen him raise preflop until this hand ($100)
The hand, UTG-CO all fold to the Villan who raises in MP for $7, hero is dealt two red QQs and re-raises to $40 leaving me with $35 behind, everyone else folds
HU to the flop- Jx6x3x ($82)
Villan bets $20, and hero shoves for my last $35 with my over pair, Villan thinks for about 30 seconds keeps checking his cards and finally says "Well I have to overs so I call"
Villan shows KQ of diamonds
Turn- Kx ($150)
River- 2x
Think I played the hand descent due to the description of the villain and don't think he had me on the flop since he made such a weak bet but if you guys could provide some insight it would be highly appreciate!

Villain should have folded to your raise pre, but shipping it would have been better than calling as he did. He should have check folded flop. However, as played he should call the $15.
Wait, what were you asking? Were you seriously asking us to evaluate your play with QQ when you were 37.5 bbs deep? If so, then I'd probably raise a bit smaller than you did. Everything else fine.

Mainly just wanted you guys to see if my preflop raise is ok, and if shipping on the flop is the right decision facing such a small bet with only $35 behind.

Nice Hand. You played it perfectly fine. He just caught a 3 outer. It happens.

Sounds like you played it fine, also sounds like a good game, hopefully you reloaded and stacked him later.

don´t want to sound harsh, but i mean, you know you played it fine. if you don´t know that, you´re probably helpless
