Been playing $1/2 for several hours. I am down to approximately $210 of my $300 max buy-in. Although I had reads on a few villains, I had none on the relevant villain in this hand because she just moved over from another game. She is an Asian girl who is inebriated - she talked about how she drank nine beers as she posted her big blind for this, her first hand.

Dealt AJ UTG and do my standard open to Yo $11. I get three callers including drunk Asian girl making a pot of $45.

Flop comes T57

Drunk Asian girl says "I'm going to bet all of these," and moves all of her white chips towards the dealer. For some reason this turned out to be a pot-sized bet of $47 (why she moved over with over two barrels of white chips I had not, nor even now, figured out. She didn't seem like someone who would be playing $2/4 limit).

There's $92 in the pot and I have ~$200 behind. Eyeballing villain's stack I see it is probably a little more than I have. Eyeballing two other players in hands gains me no further information but my gut says they're not married to this hand. I deliberate for about 15 seconds before shoving.

Thoughts?

Shoving is probably fine because of how much equity you have vs her calling range. Generally against a weak player I will just call here and look to play later streets and get them to make a big mistake when I hit.

Short of flopping the 100 to 1 nut flush, only way this flop could be better ... if the 7d were the Ad or Jd.

Realistically, this is a flop we wanted when we opened for $11.

WP.

I opted against this because of stack sizes: Had I just called there would have been $130 in the pot and I would have only had about $160 behind and that is assuming the two other players didn't call or raise.

I would hate to have a scare turn card like the board pairing or even a blank come and get bet into especially since she already made a pot-sized flop bet. Unless I make my hand on the turn, I am setting myself up for a lot of uncomfortable turn scenarios, I felt. I also thought I did have some fold equity here. Of course I am open to correction. That's why I posted the hand.

Haha, I think I have a better chance against T-X. According to two dimes I am on the positive side of a coin flip unless she has AT or JT in which case I am on the negative side of it (~55%/45% in both cases) and I am also ahead of 99, 88 and 66 as well which I guess aren't impossible holdings. It's not even impossible she has some kind of a draw (smaller clubs, 89) and was semi-bluffing herself.

Against a set I only win about 25% of the time though. And these numbers are only head's up and does not take the other two villains who have yet to act into account.

The longest time for a reveal ever (I found this hand on my Facebook Memories)

She very quickly called.

Run out 5 J. I didn't like the turn pairing the board but I turn my hand over and MHIG.

I was either behind against Tx but with a ton of equity or maybe even ahead the whole time against a worse flush draw. She never showed, but she was very pissed with me.

In related news, I miss live poker.

Seriously, you couldn’t have waited another couple of days to get some more feedback???

Seriously, how you played it can’t be wrong and probably how I play it. However, generally needing to hit to win you actually want more callers. So flatting to bring others along is maybe the boss move here. Drunk Asian is going to get looked up a lot.

If this game had typical stacks of a 2/5 table, I would agree that a call that might drag in more callers is the correct move. That way when the turn blanks, I can do a bigger semi-bluff that has a chance of working.

With those stacks, the turn bet does you no good and I'm worried my two overs might not even be outs, so I have to flush and the turn bet has near zero FE.

I like the flop shove in this case where FE is higher.
