Hi all,

Thoughts here?

Effective stack is $240

V: only player I really respect in this game. Better than the other opponents at the table. Seen some crazy bluffs gone to showdown. Solid player. Better than the other people at the table easily.

H: me and V have played maybe like 20 hours together haven’t played a ton of hands against eachother I’m on his direct left. I think he has me covered

I believe the cutoff open limps V raises to 10 in the SB I 3 bet to 35 with KK

Cutoff folds and V calls

($72) Flop is Q 2 3 rainbow. He checks I bet 25. Such a dry flop don’t have any reason at all to bet huge. Plus I think this sizing can induce a spazz as well.

He calls

(122) Turn is a 10 compeleting the rainbow. He checks. We think about it and decide to check back to induce him to bet on the river ( maybe it would be better though to check back a card like an 8 or 9 here)?

River is a 2 he bets 45

Thoughts overall?

$25 into $72 is too small on the flop for my tastes, missing some value by betting about 1/3 pot.

Slow playing the great turn insures that we will win the minimum IMO.

I think against this player we only get two streets of value anyways though

Just keep betting and don't fold.

As played, shove river.
