1/2 at a local casino

Hero (136) BB - Asian in his 20s been playing TAG haven't been doing much except for playing my first 4 hands 2 were limped and 2 I raise pre with AQo and JJ. Lost with AQo after calling allin when I flopped TPFD and won with JJ after calling a shortstack allin with overpair.

V1 (250) U2 - Asian in his early 50s haven't been playing much hands and he only sat down for approx 30mins.

V2 (300) SB - Been playing quite a few hands, pretty straight forward he has been folding some hands and then telling me how keep on folding the nuts. His range is pretty wide though.

So UTg , v1 v2 and Hero limps

Flop comes 258r checks to me and I lead out for 5 fold to v1 raise to 20 and v2 makes it 60. Hero?

With only 136 eff I probably shove. You're vulnerable at best, possibly beat by 22 already, but I have a hard time thinking you're not good right now.

I'd flat and try to keep both villains in. Shove any turn tho. I'm guessing someone flopped a set of 2s??? This is probably the bottom end of my continuing range. I see people limp in with big pairs often and go crazy post flop

true, didn't think of flatting for that reason. doesn't matter how strong it looks to flat anyway.

It's likely somebody has a set here..but with stack sizes the way they are, flat then shove any turn

a shove here is too strong.. ill flat with the intention of shoving if v1 raise..
im shoving most turn but will probably hesitate if the turn is a 2, 4 or 9.

I think this situation is a toss up between shove and fold. There are too many cards we don't want to see on turn to flat here. V1's range has a lot of over pairs, draws and other hands we beat in his range, but V2 worries me here. The check/raise out of the SB after a bet and raise is very strong and I would put him on a set a lot here.

Against some villains I fold make a puke/fold and against others I shove. It depends on how many sets I put in their range and how likely it is they might be getting stupid with an over pair or a smaller two pair.

I lead these flops a lot stronger, whether I have 1 pair or better, I'll lead for at least pot and sometimes more than pot. Small bets induce people to steal a pot, where as if you were to have made a regular sized bet most players are going to play much more ABC against you.

In this hand you say V2 has

I'm assuming that you mean his preflop range, but what about his range for this? Because it sure looks like he's trying to get his stack in. So what hands is he doing that with? What is he all of a sudden feeling good enough about now to 3 bet to $60 after the flop that he wasn't willing to raise earlier? Does he limp over pairs then go crazy with them post flop in these spots? If he's pretty loose and willing to gamble or plays over pairs crazy then you're going with your hand. Pretty straight forward for a guy 3 betting post flop in this spot is sets. So you fold. What to do depends on the player.
