Hero 1/2 live with 400$

Utg is a drunk high guy who keeps offering to smoke people up and wont stop talking. Slurring his words. Not exactly sure how he plays since hes been gone a good amount of the time I've been here but seems a little splashy. Says this 300$ buy in means nothing to him hes just here to have fun. Watched him snap call an all in on the river, unpaired board pot was 60$ and the guy who jammed had 108$. Flush got there on the river and the jam had 36s for a flush and was good. Covers hero.

No reads on HJ but hes got about 200$. Hes the same guy who called a raise pre with 36s and jammed with the 6 high flush.

Hero has 22 on btn.

Utg raise to 15$, hj calls, hero calls.

Normally I think this is a fold pre but against this guy I dont think his utg raise means as much as a normal player.

Flop ($48) T82r

Utg bets 60$, HJ calls, hero?

I would flat the flop and get it in on any turn card.

I would make the most player dependent read. Has he called any raises in the time you've been there? Will he call a raise here? If yes, raise.

If not, flat and gii on turn.

Seems like a flat, board is super dry and if HJ calls a turn bet from villain, we get some extra bb in the pot.

why on earth would you fold this hand pre in this spot with these stacks vs. anyone?

I think because of reverse implied odds

In this case you're referencing set over set? Set over set has a 1% chance of happening.

Not only set over set. Bottom set is vulnerable to other hands than just sets.

I think being in position though yeah it shouldnt be a fold. Guess its diff than being first to act in early position.

Seems bog standard flat, get it in on turn. We want to stack them both ideally.
