I agree that the cbet couldve been a bit larger, but then he may not have raised here either. What is he putting you on? Do you have a 9x in your range? Or is he putting you on a smaller pair.

I dont mind checking the Turn here IP with some opponents if I think I will scare them off with a bet AND I think they would lead out the River. I would not do this OOP though as it would be too easy for them to fold out/check behind on River. Just dont be too upset when a K peels off and you have to fold!!

Basically you have to make a decision on the Turn ... do I play this for a 9 or a K? You got pretty much max value from a Kx by checking the Turn, but you would have lost value from pretty much any 9x since there certainly wouldve been another 3-bet or shove before the River.

1) Just a bit more on the Flop
2) Make a decision on Turn to take line agaisnt 9x or Kx
3) Live with the results ... as always ... with a smile. GL

I would also add that if you cbet larger and he only calls, then a Turn bet is a MUST!!
