Hero ($350) moved to this 1/2 table specifically to play against BB in Seat 2 who has a huge $1500 stack. Hero has been active, raising a decent amount but we're only 20 hands in with these villains:

BTN: Drunk MAWG, just won a high hand promo with a straight flush. He has $400 in front of him plus another $200 in his pocket from the promo.

SB: Short stacked fat old lady. She has $150.

BB: $1500-stacked asian male. Has also been active.

Folded to hero who opens for $10 with JTo. All villains call.

Flop KJJr.

Blinds check, hero c-bets $15. BTN insta-raises to $75. Blinds fold.

Hero wants max value. Hero???

How good is your kicker? I wouldn't see why he would raise here with anything other than a J unless he is really drunk.

There is $40 in the pot and you bet $15? If drunk guy has any aggression he can be raising here with anything, figuring your probing bet c-bet can be anything.

Call, check and see what drunk guy does on the turn. A reraise on the flop is too likely to push out worse and get called by better. You want to let him continue bluffing or miss playing KX if that is what he is doing and you don't want to scare him off. If he checks turn then lead most rivers, if he bets turn then mostly call and check river also.

This varies by how he is playing drunk obviously. If he is playing a no-bluff super passive game then you might even get away from this on the river if he keeps betting. If he is playing a no-fold aggro game then leading turn and river might be better.

These spots are kind of annoying. In my experience calling and checking doesn't work out well, usually they do something ******ed like bet $20. I'd just reraise shove. Drunk rec players are utterly incapable of folding any J in that spot. Hopefully he has J2 and whatnot in his range.

I really want a lot more information on how the drunk guy did this. Did he carefully cut out $75 in red chips, did he say $75 and push out a stack of red chips, did he grab a stack of chips and it happened to be $75, did he happen to have 3 green chips he flipped into the pot. Is the $200 in his pocket in play and he doesn't realize it? If he is very aware of what he is doing I'm check calling. KJ, QJ , AJ, and KK are all in play. If he seems to be more of a lucky drunk then I'm shoving as he could have a simply made a very bad impaired raise.

There were three green chips on the felt about 1.2 seconds after I bet three red chips on the flop. He didn't say anything. The $200 in his pocket is not in play.

I'm inclined to call and continue carefully. I wouldn't fault folding either. It would be an at the table read decision for me.

I hope you're not opening JTo any earlier than the CO, and JTo in the CO is pretty borderline. JTo is pretty much the stone-cold bottom of my range from the CO RFI. I would even advocate for most players to just open-fold this from the CO.

5x a little too big pre if you're stealing from the CO. You're giving yourself a pretty bad price to steal.

AP, would just call and let the guy hang himself.

Fold pre. I usually check these spots if I don't want to get raised, which is v dependent. Sounds okay in this spot though, but I c/c the rest of the hand.
