I think he is suggesting telling him to fold his JJ while he is tanking on the turn, not after the hand is over!!

Fair enough, I missed the “while he was tanking” part.

For what it’s worth, I tried the opposite in a tournament yesterday when I check-shoved 87o from the SB on the stone bubble during hand-for-hand with the big stack on an 884 board after the short stack bet enough to leave herself 8 bigs behind. When she said something along the lines of not morning being the bubble, I just flippantly said: “Well I know you can’t call without an 8 here,” hoping she would call. She tank-folded. Probably had nothing and just wanted to keep the blinds from advancing but it was worth a shot.

I usually play JJ so soft PF unless im 1st to enter in LP

DrChesspain I want to sit in a game with you sometime. You may take my cookies but It would be very interesting im sure.

Now regarding the hand, PF is not horrible, I'd be happier to call with more callers in front of me but yolo.

OTF, I would have raised to $100 and really apply the pressure.

Tournament or cash this is a double edged play on the Turn. Call and you may not get paid off, shove and you are pretty much getting called down .. even with tanking .. against most of this V range. The Board is just too draw heavy for most to fold even AK here if they have a or in their hand.

The only reason he tanked so long IMO was because you 'were' correct in his opinion of your image ... but that has now been downgraded. GL

No worries. I would never advocate needling an opponent when you took their money even if they deserved it!

My guess is she folds anyway but I don't blame you for trying!
