1-2 with straddle to 5
Straddler(villain) is an Indian women who doesn't get out of line much from what I've seen.
Loose and fairly passive player.

I raise TT to 16 from HJ and BB and straddle calls.

(49) 984r

Checked to me and I cbet 32.
Straddler calls.

(113) 4r
Cbet 65 and a quick call.
I take a look at her and she stares at me intensely.
I'm 99% sure I'm good at this point.

(243) J
She leads 76 into me.

Call? You're beaten a lot but the price is too good.

:grunch:

-I go 20 preflop with a $5 straddle on

-I’m conflicted on the turn and can see it both ways. Sure, you want to bet to deny equity to her draws, but I also think you may fold out some hands that would call a bet on the river had you checked. BUT, your hand blocks a lot of her possible drawing range so she’s probably weighted a little more towards medium strength made hands.

-Overall I lean towards a bet, because i usually default to betting if I think the decision is close but I see both sides of the argument.

-hard for me to comment on the turn bet sizing without knowing effective stacks. Please provide if you can.

-I’m calling it off on the river. I just can’t find a fold in this spot getting over 4-1. There are enough busted straights and counterfeited 89 hands in her range and I’m just not good enough to lay it down. If V has some stupid hand that got there on the river, so be it.

65 into 113 is before rake is taken, so its in reality a 60% bet.
We were maybe 350 deep preflop.

She had QJ, so I dunno what to call it.
Bit of value and a bit of blockbet.

What sizing does players use when they blockbet 9x here?
