Table: 2-100SL (1/2 max bet 100), short handed. 4 players. Playing 1 more round before the table breaks. Most of the action-type players have left. Remaining: 1 loose passive, 1 solid reg, V, who is pretty solid TAG, and Hero, also pretty solid TAG. Both have stacks of 500+ BB.

Hero on button with 9T suited. Hero raises to $11. V in BB calls.

flop comes KQJ rainbow. V checks. Hero bets $19. V calls.

turn: K. V checks hero checks.

river: A. V bets $70. Hero?

Sub-optimal late night end of session nittiness?

Given the lineup and the 4-handed nature of the game, you'd be better off just calling it a night if you're starting to feel nitty. This game should get aggressive fast if you and the other TAGs are doing it right, and you'll have a hard time making money if don't keep up.

Speaking of which, how aggressive is your preflop dynamic with this guy? Does he 3bet KQ against you here? How about KJ? I think this is a call as there should be relatively few boats in his preflop flatting range. But yeah plz bet turn.

I think if V is TAG as you say above he will be raising this flop with two pair so I am not really too worried about V boating up on the flop. I think he likely has a one pair hand or a straight draw. As played I am calling the river. I think you will see a chop here a lot but after the turn check im not folding. I think you are losing a ton of value on the turn. I am betting about 50 OTT and if he flats I am betting 100 on the river.

Bet $30-$40 for value on the turn.

As played, call the river. 4-handed against a button open, he should be 3-betting pre-flop with most, if not all of the hands that have you beat on the river.

I like posting hands where I play like crap! We were literally playing our second to last hand after an agreed-upon last round.

I didn't include details of history or table talk/tells in OP as I wanted basic reactions to hand without. Will include in spoiler, I guess. (Still getting the hand of forum etiquette.) I will say that in TAG range V was closer to the LAG end than me.

Spoiler:
V and I had pretty much dominated the two tables we played at for several hours. This was our second table after the first one broke. I had already doubled through him flopping a straight against his AA. When I bet the flop he said something to the effect of, "You flopped the world again, didn't you?" and then called. Does this change my thinking at all?
