Hero recently got a table change to the "action table" in the room. Has the largest stacks and there are a few fishy players at the table. I managed to get to the direct left of both of them .

V1 is a player I played with the night previous. Just a normal rec player. Playing too wide of a range preflop but is mostly passive post flop and doesn't start betting until he has a hand, he mostly just calls.

V2 is an older hyper loose semi passive fish. Raises pre 75% of the time and with a super wide range consisting of just garbage. I have played with this villain before and he is high variance. I have and will take the high variance approach of calling this player down rather wide and he is known to bluff with air and marginal hands. Dangerous when he gets a hand.

V3 is a younger 30-something loose passive fish. Plays terribly and enters with too many hands and seems to bet weak hands and chase draws. Just more of the normal.

V2 and V3 are the marks on this table. They play badly and also will play with huge stacks.

Hand begins with V2(600$) in the HJ limping, V3(400$) limps. I pick up 10c8c on the button. Normally i would tend to over limp this hand often but I feel i have a good post-flop edge on these guys and I full expect to get called if I raise. Stacks are deep and i want to play pots with these two with position. I take the initiative and raise to 15$ (hero stack is 350$.) V1 has 800$ and calls from the SB. The rest of the table folds and V2 and V3 leave the pot which was a bit of a surprise.

Flop (30$) comes Ac9h5s. V1 checks. Board is rather dry, I have no showdown value but have a few backdoor cards I can barrel namely flush cards or straight cards. Also the Ace should tend to hit PFR range more often. I elect on a Cbet here of 15$. V1 calls rather quickly.

Turn (60$) comes 7c. The best card in the deck! V1 checks and I am definitely going for a double barrel here picking up so much equity and keep up the initiative . I bet 30$. V1 check raises to a essentially a min raise of 65$.

What does hero do here? I am obviously not folding but should we flat this raise and realize our equity getting such a great price now or should we be re raising again? I have 290$ at this moment and will have around 255$ left with a pot of around 190$ on river if we flat. Re-raising again is committing my stack here and would probably just shove all in if I re raise again.

Passive recs usually won't raise postflop with hands they don't intend getting it in with. Whether V1 has 97, A7, 77 or 86 I fully expect him to gii given he chose to X/R. Given Ac is onboard and you have the best combo draw clubs I doubt he's raising another draw which is good in a way as it reduces the chance you are against a higher flush draw but bad in that he likely has no bluffs at all.

So I think you have very little fold equity and around 33% equity. You've got position so I think you should call and see if you make your hand safe in the knowledge you'll get another bet out of him on the river even if you have to bet it after he checks.

Edit: I also think you'll only get it all in on river if V does bet infront of you. If he's the type to get afraid of the 4 straight or 3 flush I think he'll be able to fold 2-pair to your overbet shove on the river. I know it's good to bet big for value so you can include more bluffs in a balanced range but I don't think the river in this hand is a good spot for balanced ranges. If he checks river when you make it I'd go around half to two thirds pot rather than pot or overbet shove. I'm interested in others thoughts on this...
