Hero: Been playing for under an hour, hasn't really done anything, started out card dead.
Villain1: Just sat down, playing his 2nd hand.
Villain2: MAWG, bought in for $80, playing scared.

OTTH

Villain1 (UTG+1, $200): Raises to $10
Hero (MP, $250): Calls with 33
Villain2 (CO, $90): Calls

Flop ($30): 346

Villain1 bets $23.
Hero raises to $85.
Villain2 thinks for 2 minutes and reluctantly calls (he's now all in)
Villain1 shoves
Hero ??

I would love some insight on calling low pocket pairs in MP to LP, my sizing on the flop, and what you would do here. Thanks in advance.

Under the 15 25 35 rule $250/$10= 25 so it's above the 15 you need to call with small/medium pairs. With villain raising utg it's generally pretty strong so combos could be anywhere from pocket 7+ maybe even wider if there is only three of you so I would include suited aces and Kings. Since V2 reluctantly calls he could be on a draw or A6 or a medium pocket pair from 77-10s maybe even jacks but doubt it. It is somewhat a wet board with two draws and possible two pairs on the flop. The only hand that beats you ATM is 5-7 & A2. Even then you still have 7 outs assuming that one villain does not hold 4-6 doubt they have a 3 since you have blockers. With a low board. I think you call here the maths are the pot prior to you calling is $200+$90+$85=$375 and you only need $115 to call as you have them covered. That's more than 3:1 which is what you need to call.

This is a fist pump snap call. You basically have the nuts against an unknown UTG+1 pre-flop raiser. Think about what hands he is raising pre-flop UTG+1, and think about how many of those hands beat you here.

Pre-flop you're implied odds are decent if you can stack him (20:1), but you don't have great position, won't stack him every time you hit, will rarely win without hitting, may be 3! by players left to act, and won't even win every time you hit. I'd probably fold but it depends on other players at the table.

The only real question I would ask (by sizing him up, and I'm no authority) is would he lead EP for 10 with LPP like 44 or 66? (obvious answer is obvious). I'd probably do less than 85 since now you're basically committed for the extra 105 IMO. I think with bottom set on a scary board like that I'd call the 23, let V2 shove and take position on V1. AP I'd be calling and hoping to only see AA and A5.

Oh and of course you could be behind pocket 6.&4and if that's the case it's a cooler

Against an unknown villain TONS of stuff we beat here - could be AA-JJ easy. I am giving the dealer a high five as I call this bet and then shrugging this off as a cooler if I lose the hand. Really can't think of too many spots where I would feel better about going broke.

All that aside are we not committed after our raise to 85? IMO if we can fold in this spot we never should have made such a raise

pre: V1 is announcing he has a strong hand opening UTG+1. at 5% of effective stacks i think 33 is a standard call here, unless you have a great read that shorty V2 is gonna shove over. our IO vs. V1 should be solid considering where he's raising from

flop: we are crushing V1 on this flop. he should be capped at overpairs and NFDs. our money is going in good against him. i like the raise size on this board texture (hearts, 3 to a straight already). there are plenty of cards that could make someone else a flush or a straight (V2 is only one that should show up with a 5 for the OESD here). those same cards should be action killers, so lets get the money in now. $20 less than pot-sized feels right

when V2 calls this short, he could have a 5, two pair, pair and straight draw, hearts, small overpair.... all of which we are beating

when V1 reshoves, he's repping a big PP or the NFD, both of which we're ahead of. don't fold

Thanks for all the responses, I didn't think folding was an option but just wanted to make sure. I think I like making the raise $80 rather than $85 but kinda splitting hairs there.

FWIW

Hero calls
Villain1 turns over AA
Villain2 shows K9

Board 346

Unfortunately,
Turn: 4
River: 4

Sickest runout ever, but yeah easy easy call there. Your almost never ever beat there and even if you are you have tons of equity against made straight or re-draw to flush on turn. Especially in a 3 way pot, as said before if it's set over set (unlikely by preflop betting) it's whatever reload and move on.
