This 'theory' has probably been discussed boatloads but I searched and couldn't find. If there are copious threads purporting to it's existence, please direct me by all means.

Been playing LLSNL 1/2 past couple weeks, never played in casinos before, getting a feel for it even more in terms of difference from online etc.

So when dealing with passive/weak -- loose/passive calling stations, or even level 1/2 nittish pick you're spots 'wannabe poker players' (clarification, generally play by 123ABC poker to their knowledge limit, BUT they take stabs(bluff) here and there because of whatever reasons---I find these nittish semi-regs to be 'scared/tenative/timid' and rarely peek out of their comfort zone which has strong point to the following:

I'm inclined to believe that these players in general are disposed to the following in terms of percentage tendency:

Bet-Bluff/Lead-Bluff (not necessarily flop C-bet) mid-high % of bluffing range (when bluffing). Aka: When they actually bluff, this is a high % of the betting style in which they incorporate.
Raise-Bluff, Check-Raise-Bluff low % of bluffing range (when bluffing). Aka: When they actually bluff, this a low, possibly very low of the betting style/line in which they incorporate.

These players, in their 'bluffing-range', ARE FAR MORE LIKELY to BET-BLUFF a street and FARRRR LESS LIKELY TO RAISE BLUFF. Consequently an extremely high percentage of the time, 80-90%+ they raise it is not a bluff and done with the belief of strength.

Apologies if this is common theory. Been away from cards for 4 years, and I'm very much relighting the attic. Hopefully get a, "yep, move on".

Thanks

They never re-raise light or on a semi-bluff, also they tell you the strength of their hand from the size of their bets.

Its easy to steal pots from these types of villains in multiway pots, because when they bet, they are usually betting top pair and can be pushed off their hand when the board gets scary.

Pretty much what bodybuilder said about bet sizing. I notice that the typical fish feels like they know they have to bet sometime even when they are weak but they dont understand that they can't bet 1/4 or less pot because it's super transparent. They really just dont factor in the size of the pot enough to make their bluff sizes work. So when you see the weak flop bet attack it if you feel it's necessary. Just remember not to overdo it. "Don't tap on the tank" as they say............

yep, move on.

Especially if a weak, but not completely passive, ABC PFRer c-bets smallish on the flop and then "same bet"s the turn. This is a license to raise with any two and take the pot, ime.
