Well I think an opening raise is called for against nits; the whole point is to raise their anxiety level. Against the calling stations, I'm not sure. To maximize your implied odds, you want to keep the numerator low and the denominator high.
I guess there is value in culling the herd, provided you're selecting the worst of the worst, rather than the best of the best!
Geek has posted here and there about the benefits of limping in ep at passive, cally tables. To be clear, he's talking about hands that have the potential to make monsters. KJo isn't in that category, even though it is ahead of this villain's range. Not way ahead, but ahead some (which is the challenge).
