$500 max game, almost all have over $300 here with a few above $500. Very loose action table with a lot of pots being raised and going 3-4 ways. A few maniacs playing nearly any two and punting hard.

More of a strategy question than a HH. A hand came up where there was something like 7 limps to me in the BB. My questions is: What is our raising range here?

I'm thinking something like 88+, JTs+, KQo, AQo, AK

I will need to size up to at least $20 here being the table is so loose and deep. Not sure if we want to raise stuff like A5s, AJo, KJo, QTs, and lower suited connectors like 78s-9Ts. These players are all pretty bad if that helps answer this.

Thanks

It really shouldnt be too much different than your UTG open raise range so something like 77+, AJs+, AQo+. I would not be raising hands like KQ or JT suited or not, especially in loose games with lots of limp/calling. Bad players or not, you will still be oop to all of them and likely multi way very often.

A little tighter then your UTG opening range after that many people have shown interest in the pot. With that many people already in your going to have to raise to at least $15 and probably $20+ and still have to expect to get callers. That is going to make SPR small and your looking for hands you can commit with or give up on the flop.

Something like always raise JJ+, AQ+ and sometimes raise 88-TT. What you do with AJs and KQs depends on how passive the players are, if people limp/calling with AQ/AK is a concern then don't raise those hands, otherwise raise sometimes. If you want to mix it up then add in a few suited connectors and lower pairs but mostly limp those hands.
