I felt like I was playing my hands pretty straightforward for most of the day so I decided to mix in a check since there isn’t any river I’m necessarily afraid of and might get paid off by a smaller pocket pair that could possibly fold on the turn and hero call on the river since there isn’t any draws on the turn. Being results oriented yeah I should’ve bet
Allowing a free card isn't a big deal, the big deal is missing a street of betting when SB has like KQ. He has a Q a lot for that flop overcall on a bone dry board.
never not raising this river; I prob go 100 more to get value from his QX; i think we can get greedy when targeting trips; if he has weak pair i think he will fold to a small raise anyways like 50 more for example
Raising for value to 75 is fine in this spot. I'm never calling/folding river.
I raised to 75. SB called and UTG folded. After thinking about the hand more I wasn’t sure if this was too small of a raise and what would you do if the guy shoves over that raise? Would that be a fold?

I think a shove has to be a fold with no further information, but it's gross. Trips should never be shoving here against a b/r. I've heard coach types saying a lot more that b/folding is one of the most important skills to have, and it's for situations like this where you're leaving value OTT by not raising but you're only ever getting 3b by better. I'd have to have pretty solid reads on V to consider calling here.

Yep I’m folding to a shove, it would be too strong by them.
