Villain in this hand is late 20s / early 30s middle eastern guy. Dressed for a night out at the casino. Only been at the table for about 30 min. Def playing lag already on his second buy in. Giving lots of action.
Played one hand. Against him where I had AJ : flop came 779 with 2 : he c/r flop then bet 25 on a blank turn into a 100$ pot with only another 45 behind . I flatted and folded to his shove on the river unimproved. V showed a 9.

Flop check is fine. You got him to do exactly what you wanted on the turn. The 7 gives an action player a ton of hands he'd bluff raise with. Also, you're near the top of your range. Stack off cheerfully. He is pretty unlikely to have a set.

From HH, I think we need to get NFD+Overs it in OTF vs this guy's range & stack size. Do some equity calculations on your draws. Nut flush draws with over and open-ended straight-flush draws are often absolute favorites on the flop.

Main hand:

I like the 3bet. I think we can increase our sizing. Slaggy villain will call of much more.

Why do we check flop, hand masking? It's not that dry & I think we can get value from worse hands that might assume we'd c-bet our entire pf3bet range. Maybe he's just gambly and wants to see a spade or low straight come in. He's also c/r us before and continued firing after.

I think we've gotta call off this guy getting ~2:1. Based on description, we're usually good. I wouldn't think more than 6 seconds about this in a game. He's got all sorts of weaker aces, PP, and draws in range that make up for the times we run into something serious.

I'd make it $40 pre. Calling the shove for sure vs this specific villain. He can easily have worse aces that he thinks are good because of your flop check and draws. I wouldn't be surprised if villain beat us with A7 or a set though.

Based on the HH these guys will only stack off with the nuts or close to them. The $25 bet into $100 in the HH is very telling IMO. Personally I'm betting this flop for value, and probably the turn as well. As played in I'm folding expecting to see, A7, A4, A5, 44, 55... maybe A6. If you think he's doing this with A8-J I think you're wrong.
