Hero is mid 20s black guy, been raising a fair amount, more TAG than LAG.

Villain has been pretty tight, mid 40s white guy.

Effective stacks are 650

Hero raises to 17 after a few limps with AKss in MP, donk calls on button, Villain tank calls

Pot is 50
Flop Jx8s5s.

Villain checks, hero Bets 30, donk calls, Villain raises to 102. Hero tank calls, donk folds.

Pot is 300
Turn 4x

Villain shoves, has Hero covered. Hero has around 5 left. I feel like this is an obvious fold, but it took me a while to do it. Is there any way we're ahead?

HAHA. I guess the real question is, should I fold the flop?

tank call pre seems like he was thinking about 3 bet. jj and 88 are most likely here.

pretty deep and getting around 3 to 1 on flop i think call is fine as long as u will be able to extract when spade falls. if hes the type to completely shut down and fold when flush gets there, then just fold flop. but most people at 1/2 arent very willing to fold sets regardless of board.

now that youve whiffed, and are not getting close to right price, fold and dont think twice about it.
