Hero $250 stack , trickled from $300, but decent image

Villain $150 stack, white kid plays decent, talkative

Hero with AK raise in EP to 15, MP calls , villain in sb calls

$46 Flop:

J 7 4

villain checks hero bets 25

MP folds, villain calls

$96 Turn: 10

Villain leads 40, Hero calls? pretty sure he has at least pair of jacks here... what do?

yes he is more than likely setting your price for spades with his pair, he only has 70 behind so if you shove he likely has to snap it off, so we should flat

likely getting paid if we hit anything anyways with more than 2x in pot than villians stack

I would call. You have a draw to the nut flush which makes a big difference with your implied odds.

If all he has is a 1 pair hand, we have 18 outs. That's enough to shove if he calls 100 percent of the time.

We would be shoving 110 to win 205. We have enouh equity already.

If villain can find the fold button any percentage of the time it's a great play.

Lots of dirty outs on this board...

AJ, KJ, JT - two pair discounting your A and K outs
c/c-donk line from oop is a flopped flush line, discounting your non- Q outs a little
Spades are a lock except T, but you can prob forget about that

donk on the turn is prob something a little higher equity than 'just a pair of jacks' ie KJx, JT, 77, etc

Getting 3.4:1 on a call is about even-money on the pot-odds

You're depending on him calling a 4-flush board for implied odds, which is where your profit is coming from. Player dependent here.

Shove? unless he's the type to make a b/f on a 3-flush board getting 3:1 on a call-all-in, i think you're getting called a good proportion of the time.

Close between all three. I couldn't find a fold here. If you're going to call any river that gets you to beat a pair of jacks, then maybe a shove is better. I probably just call with reasonable pot odds and eval the river.

I think when you take this line OTF, at least some of the time, you need to fold the turn.

Lead flop, then lead Turn, and evaluate the action.

River: 8

villain shoves, hero folds, villain shows JT for 2 pair

Hero complains he doesnt hit the 4th flush card in 3 medium size pots during session.
