1/2 AJo squeeze in BB? 1/2 AJo squeeze in BB?

V is UTG ($150), just sat down and dealer dealt a free hand to him by mistake.

OTTH

V quickly raises $15, 3 callers (~250-300 stacks), gets to Hero ($300) in BB with AJo

Hero hasn't played a hand with the other 3 in over half an hour and 2 of them know he's a TAG winner.

Is AJo a good hand to squeeze here? How much?

Do you know have any prior history with the V who opened? Any idea of his UTG opening range? Is he sticky? Does he have a perception of you?

If he's a complete unknown, and you can't answer any of these questions, then I don't like the squeeze. Plus he's only 75BB deep.

FWIW, I don't like flatting. I'm mostly folding, sometimes 3-betting.

A bit off topic but since V is utg with no significant action than you should have called for a misdeal.

Maybe this is my fault but whenever a new player sits downs and immediately raises the very first hand they are dealt, I always think their weak.

But anyway, I think for a squeeze purpose its great but I think the new player is going to call pretty much any squeeze bet. So be prepared to play at least a flop heads up against him.

I rarely see an open raise on the very first hand a player is dealt fold to a 3bet. Almost always they are calling.

It's a blind shove OTF for his remaining $50 obv. The only person I'd expect to call was him and I was willing to flip it up with him for all the dead money.
