Hero sitting at the table for 3 hours, down 300€. Didnt play good in that session. Extremely card dead, not hitting any flops and unconscious tilt.
Stack super tight image 190€
Villain mid 30`s, tight passive. Only saw him play a few hands and making some bad calls. Called a 3bai otf 965 with KK and lost to a straight and saw him call an allin ott 876Tr with KTo and lost to T9.
Stack 300€

After not playing a hand for about an hour i raise first in AJo in HJ to 8€, only V calls otb.

Flop (19€) 664
Hero 10€, V calls quickly

Turn (39€) 664J
Hero 20€, V calls again really quick

River (79€) 664J4
Hero 40€, V tanks for a minute looking at me "suspiciously" a few times and suddenly shoves for 112€ more.

When he tanked i was kinda praying for a call thinking he either has Ahigh or 77-TT. Didn´t expect a shove.

Did you have Ah? Cuz this is a standard float for Villain IP otf with AhXh, then standard to call again ott, and it makes sense for him to bluff the river. I'd definitely call it off without the Ah.

With the Ah, it's a lot closer. He's risking 150 to win 120, so your minimum defense frequency is about 45%, i.e. you should call with 45% of your range. So figure out where AJ is in your range (including your bluffs), and that will tell you whether you should call or not.

Check turn or river. Three streets looks too thin on this board. AP, I’m folding.

this is 1,2 live you cant be calling based on someone floating. that isnt going to happen.

basically he is going to be more scared of that board then you are and so his raising you is telling you you cant win.

think about what you did here. you put in 8 to win 3 pre flop with ace jack.
then oop you get to play a big pot with a pair on board.

Dude is tight passive. I don't see him turning like 77 into a bluff here against what looks like an overpair from you. He probably made quads, that would account for the Hollywooding on the river.

I folded. Should have x/c the river instead of b/f

His play indicates a 4 to me 90% of the time. Quick call on flop and turn, then the tank shove. Sometimes this is a 6, but if it was he would have pondered a raise before calling on the flop or turn.
