Hey all, I have an odd spot I want to ask about. Playing 1-2 200max, start at table with 200 and after 15 min in to session I pick up kk from ep. I open to 9 from utg+2 and the button flats. Don’t have solid reads on button but looks like a solid player with 400 in front. I would go he’s tag solid based on how he looks and hasn’t gotten out of line in 15 min. (Later on after long session, he is tag and pretty tight but agg when playing hands).

Flop is 8d-9d-Jx . I Cbet to 15 and he raises to 35. I think and just flat to re-eval the turn. Turn i don’t remember the card but I wanna say it was 2d. I check and he bets 70. I don’t have a diamond in hand. (Also lets say it was a 2x and of a diamond, any way this becomes a call and re-eval river or jam)

Is this a simple fold? I folded bc I don’t see how I can play hand well if we call and have to check to him on river. Also if I jam I don’t see getting called by worse almost ever and being dominated a lot and at best being against a hand with a ton of equity against my hand. I ended up folding and just wondering if this line was ok. I felt the turn call would commit myself to
The hand and I didn’t feel this was a great spot to get 100 bbs in.

Later in the session, I asked him what he had and he didn’t remember clearly but said prolly a combo draw.

I think we’re behind here unless we think V is capable of taking this line with JT or QJ.

With no Kd, fold turn.
