Local 1/2 room.

I want some input into my line. As a rec player, I don't really want to get MUBS with AA as a once a week player.

V1 (400) - Middle-aged black woman. Saw her early in the session drop 2 BIs. She's a total drooler and I have no idea how she built her stack since I table changed during her 3rd bullet. I can only imagine she got it in bad MW and rivered some garbage. Saw her stack off with MP, TP type hands on wet boards.

Hero (220) - Recently table changed due to a terrible table. Couldn't believe this whale had a seat on her immediate left open.

Hand: This is Hero's 2nd orbit.

1-2 limps to V who bets 16
Never saw her open this big earlier

Hero 3bets to 40 with AA
I know she's calling, and hopefully it will get HU

V calls as expected.

Flop (85) - 257r

V donks 45
Hero shoves?

PF I think is ok, is there a case to flat? I consider this a mandatory 3bet given she will call.

Flop I don't believe for a second she has a set. I think it's more likely a TT+, AKs.

I shove here because in my head, if i call it's an lolcall for her if i shove turn. It's also roughly a 3/4PSB (135 into 175), so not an overbet.

Thoughts?

Pre IMO is sweet. Don't flat seeing as you've already highlighted the limpers pre. It's 1/2 don't get tricky.

I'm sweet with flop shove. If she has a set she has a set, we played the hand fine and if she's set mining 22, 55 or 77 when we 3b to 20bb she's real exploitable.

End of the day if you flat flop here, it's going in on the turn. Just GII now.

3b more pre..50ish. As played, I like flatting flop and getting it in on the turn.

Hand is played well. GII because she will call with any overpairs and a lot of turns can be scary for her.

Against a ''bet to see where I am'' player you could consider smooth calling.

50 pre at least if she's calling.

Me thinks the min raise is in order.

I'd suggest browsing more AA threads. This hand is such a slam dunk that your need to make a thread for this spot suggests more study will be beneficial.

Your preflop 3! size was fine. Many sizes were probably fine. You now have an SPR of just over 2 against this V. Step 1 is to realize that you are never folding here. On the flop, you want to do whatever action is most likely to eventually get all of her chips into the middle. Min raise was probably best. If she can have 2 overcards here and she might fold them to a jam, then jamming was bad.

You shouldn't have been hoping for HU with the raise. If any other V wants to put in 40 when you have AA and a stack of 220, you benefit. You are now less likely to win the pot, but you will win more when you win, enough to more than compensate for the fact that you're going to lose your stack more often. Trying to get HU is a concept that has no application to this particular spot.

Size 3b bigger pre, but w/e.

As played, $180 left otf.

If V donks $45 otf, ott and otr, we will have just $45 left to raise to get stacks in.

So ima raise somewhere, but definitely not otf.

Feel me?
