This is a hand a friend of mine played yesterday while with me at the table.

Extremely loose limp-happy table.
Hero tight image. Didnt play many hands.
V1 a station and a clear spot at the table. 200€
V2 LAG. Limp/calling K7o in ep. 300€

V2 limps in mp, hero makes it 12€ in HJ with AA, V1 calls otb, blinds call.

Flop (48€) KJT
Checks through
Turn (48€) KJT7
Checks to V1 who bets 26, blinds fold, V2 shoves.

My friend and i were discussing if flop is a check or bet on such a wet connected board. What do you guys think?

I prefer a check myself. The flop sucks. Sometimes you just have to get ready to surrender when you see it.

Flop seems close but no option looks particularly good. I would probably bet like 25 being IP vs everyone but v1. If called from oop check most turns. If btn calls we probably should x/f a lot of turns. (is this just toarching $?)
Check is fine too but we are giving up if we do as we really can't station down on this board 5 handed with 1 pair.

So turn checks thru to v1 otb and v2 x/jams? I think AA needs to bet this turn. V1 would probably bet 2pr+ otf and only 98 got there.

AP the turn check probably saved him $ but still seems wrong to me. Fold now.

I normally raise smaller than most. But given guys who have limped. Think I make it $18 pre. Make sure I give myself good chance to iso one or both.

F.y.I

Limp calling a lot is opposite of the definition of Lag.

L=loose
Ag= aggressive

I call guys who limp k7 and then play it like the nuts when they hit a pair. Aggtards, not sure how they are actually classified. But he doesn't meet Lag standards by your read.

True
He was loose passive pre but very aggressive postflop.
Actually dont know how to call that.

After telling us the definition of LAG it would be cool if u also could tell us your opinion about the hand

Nothing more to add, besides I would have raised more pre (which generally I do not like to do).

I would have bet Turn after everyone checked flop, and 2 guys checked turn.

But fold to any raise. Just super ugly board.
