Against an average lineup, I c-bet about $35 or $40.

35 so if btn jams it reopens the action and forces the others to play straightforward

Dealer accidentally flips over one of my 8's when taking my cards. One player gave me a bunch of **** about how it didnt make sense I bet there if I had 88. I should have checked for pot control lol. I didnt tell him what I had but it was prob pretty obvious. Starts telling the guy next to him he would check any overpairs there. How I was an idiot, etc etc. So badly I wanted to tell him how checking would prob be horrible but I managed to somehow keep my mouth shut lol. He also gave me crap for 3betting QQ a few hands prior. Said it makes no sense since there was a raise with a call I should just flat.

The trick is to not openly mock them so they're not sure that you're messing with them. Meanwhile they usually stop insulting you and start deconstructing their own thought process instead.
