Fold; rack up, and go home.

With effective stacks this low, the combined effects of the rake, jackpot drop, and toke make the game pretty much unbeatable.

Agreed with both above. I would’ve left this table 2 players ago, let alone staying this late.

If you absolutely MUST stay and gamble for some reason, table change.
If this is the last table, play blackjack or something, lol.

Not sure how to play a game 4 handed where the 3 V's combined have 75bb. There's no money to win here. I guess shove every hand you want to enter? I assume you're not at 25bb and if they all got to that level they're probably over folding trying not to go broke. Just shove about every 3rd hand. Or rack up and go home can't be bad either.

I assume the only reason they (and maybe you) are there is to kill time hunting for HH or BBJ. This is worse than a tournament spot due to rake/drop. The only think I would modify is you could limp, then shove most Flops. Raising PF will get you killed by the rake over the course of an hour or so unless they are prone to GII very weak. Shoving PF will work out just fine .. until you double one of them up or break the table by busting one of them. GL

There is no rake, this is a home game that is after hours from the main game

just looking for hand strategy, not game selection advice

There's no strategy to discuss sitting 25 bbs deep.

When seven people tell you the same thing and you refuse to take the hint.

In this case it means 7 people are wrong and wasting time contributing absolutely nothing to the thread.

Saying there is no strategy to be discussed in a 25BB game is a pretty asinine statement.

I don’t think we can raise a hand this weak over a limper this short. It should usually be folded, but if the blinds are passive and everyone is bad postflop we can probably play it profitably as a limp.

There's not any strategy to it. You might as well go play craps or something similar. Everyone will essentially just be playing flop bingo anyway.

thanks. this game occurred b/c as I was leaving the breaking game, 3 drunk people wanted to play a short stack game. I don't have much experience playing this short, b/c obv its not usually a good idea. But only a fool would walk away from this game

I agree with what you said, I limped in. The SB raised to $8, with about $50 behind. BB folded, limper called, I'm on the button facing $6, hero...???

yep that's exactly what I did.

J84 rainbow flop, checkraised all in, got showed KK and went home

just wondering if there's any other way to do it. Folding JT on the button in a 4 handed game after a limp is too nitty for me
