Hero ($450) mid-late 20's white guy, no gear, rec player. Haven't shown down a ton, but winning. Been at the table for close to 2 hours.
Villain (covers by a lot) late 30's white guy, very talkative. Seems competent, but is probably playing too much and takes a few weird lines. Is a fan of floating pre in blinds or limp/calling in EP and then donking flop over pre-flop raisers.
Hands of note:
Hero calls 7 pre in LP with 610ss and flop comes K63s, checks around. Turn something non-threatening and V leads, folds to hero who calls. River another sort of blank, V fires basically full pot or slightly more, hero calls and mhig. V says 'gutsy call'.
Hero raises LP with q10o, v calls from blinds. Flop Jxx V leads, hero floats. Turn ace, v bets, hero raises ~3x and v folds.
The hand:
V limps EP, 1 caller, Hero raises to 12 in LP with K
K
, V calls, other caller goes all-in for 21. Hero flats after a few seconds, V flats.
First debatable spot obviously, but I feel like we get more value flatting here since V will flat with 100% of his l/c range pre. If we raise any reasonable amount on top, it looks fairly strong and V will fold most of his marginal hands. He will bet and possibly overplay mid-high pairs post if he flops a Q, J, 10 or something.

V leads 40 into a dry side pot, hero?
