Hero early 20s Chinese winning image. Worked my stack from 300 to 600. Started off playing very tight but gradually opening up my range.

V1: old white guy who looks like he could be a football coach. Not involved in many hands he tripled up on a K82 board all hearts after turning 2pair and river boated up with KJ. The other two villains one flopped flush and one flopped a set.. 800 stack

V2: 40 year old Indian guy with sunglasses playing LAG. Loves to call raises in position and plays almost every pot saw him go from 300 to 1k back to 300 stack.

On to the hand..

V2 limp in HJ, hero limp on button with 107hh, v1 in sub completes bb checks.

Flop 9 8 5 rainbow

Checks to hero and I bet 12 into 8 dollars. V1 and v2 both call bb folds.

Turn J bingo.

V1 checks v2 checks I bet 30 into 40ish pot. V1 min raise to 60 v2 raises to 120. I sit there for 15 seconds and just decide to flat. V1 goes all in lol. V2 calls

Does hero ever find a fold here with the second nuts???

I would have folded pre. I think a better play if your going to play 107hh would have been to raise $12

AP, Since V1 is pretty deep and so are you, Im probably not stacking off without the nuts. Probably pretty nitty, but I'd probably fold. There is a really good chance I am folding the winner here, as V1 probably has 76 or maybe 55 or 88.

I think if you would have raised pre, V1 (football coach since you said he hasnt been involved in many pots, folds Q10) and assuming V2 (LAG) calls then you have a better situation where I would instacall V2 with the 2nd nuts.

Seriously gross hand (pre aside). I guess folding is OK, but can either of them put you on a straight? The way you've described them, folding the second nuts must be wrong. However, never go broke in a limped pot.

You played this hand exactly to hit and now you want to fold?

I'm not saying that you're necessarily wrong in this particular spot, but I see this line of reasoning a lot on this forum and I hate it.

Yeah, you hit your card, but new information is becoming available after every action. Why would we want to disregard new information just because our plan was to bink and get paid. It's possible that we bink and things work out in a way that we should disregard our previous plan.

So, if it's a call it's because even with all the new information we decide it's still profitable, not just because "bink, arrrr in!"

With all respect you played poorly. You have no information because you didn't raise preflop. That's a lot of action on a dangerous board. Given there are no flush options, you can feel a little more confident about calling. You bet a flop with a draw which wasn't bad but it's a bad habit to keep. You don't make your draw often enough to make that play profitable. Given how much action there was its a tough call. Based on how you played I think you have to. V2 probably doesn't beat you but don't be surprised if V1 pulls out Q10

Grunch:

With just one limper I'm probably raising to ensure heads up with initiative. Only question is if someone will call your small yet big $12 bet with the gutter and two overs. Kind of got yourself into this one.

Preflop matters more than you think.

Given the action I don't see how I wouldn't fold there. Seems like villain 1 is too straight forward there to not have us beat. If he shows up with a series of jacks then I would just have to tell him nice hand and move on. If that hand was to happen with a reg or another lag in place of v1 then I would gladly call. I just think it's a sick spot we got into
