Table Dynamic: This is heroes second hand at the table. I just table changed to this table because I saw deep stacks, big pots, and few regs at the table.

Hero: 2nd hand at table, stack is 325 OTB. mid 20s white guy.

V1: Early 20s euro. Looks like the grinder type, headphones and a backpack, but i have never seen him around the room before. covers in mp.

v2: Older white guy, around 70. Have no special reads on him, however i am watching him for OMC tendencies. 300 in CO

The hand:
2 limpers to V1 who opens to 15 in MP
v2 flats in CO
hero 3b JJ to 45 OTB
limpers fold
V1 and V2 call

Flop (140)
AQ6r
checks to hero
hero??

Curious here about pre and flop spots. I feel like pre my sizing was bad and it put me in a tough spot here OTF. Also considered just flatting pre since i did not have any good reads on the table, to avoid ending up in a spot just like this. OTF i was torn about whether to c-bet to fold out AXs, KQ, QJs type of hands or just to check it back and essentially give up on the hand. One thing to consider is that with the 100 spread limit the maximum amount of any single bet or raise is 100, so i would have less FE on later streets than in a NL game.

Thanks for the feedback.

If I'm 3 betting here I'm going to $65. OTF I'm checking back.

Welcome to the forum, OP.

In Colorado, I go bigger with the three bet. It's harder to set-mine with the $100 cap on bets and JJ doesn't play great mega-multi way, which is likely with a flat. $45 doesn't likely get the open-raiser out, and then the big pot will tempt the first caller in too, so I like a pot-sized 3-bet. Make it $60.

You are never folding out AXs on an A-high flop in Blackhawk, except maybe some of the OMC types. This flop smacks their range and FE is not large in these games. Check it back. If checked to again, bet/fold about half-pot for value on blank turns.

Thanks, Garick. In retrospect 60 was about what i was thinking the 3b should have been as well.

Pre Flop, if all else is equal, I'm generally raising to 4x the BB +1 BB for every limper in front of me if I'm first to raise, if I want to 3 bet, 3x the initial raise + the initial raise value for every caller in front of me, so 60 seems about right pre-flop.

On the flop I probably just check. JJ against two overs on the flop is a bad spot. See a free turn card and re-evaluate.

You probably don't have the best hand against 2 opponents and they aren't folding if you are behind, check.

Plus, checking back doesn't eliminate monsters from your range (it should, but your opponents probably aren't figuring that out). If you have the best hand it might check to the river and you win.
