Read on villain - Not a strong player, likely has some grasp of the fundamentals but not really the most thinking player. Villain saw hero the evening before go through a sick run of hands in an hour and lose 3 stacks in 30 mins set vs straight then 2 all in on flop and get sucked out on before leaving. Villain has straddled UTG every opportunity and has raised EVERY straddle that has limped around, at least 4x this evening and more the evening previously.
Hero - At the table an hour or so, lost a buyin and back up to even. Likely seen as a solid player, don't get out of line too often, winner in the game although villains perception may not be so after last night and this evening.
Hero (£203) is BB, Villian (c.£80) UTG and straddles to £2.
Hero has A2dd, MP and CO limp, hero completes with the plan to reraise the straddle raise as UTG has raised every single one of his straddles. UTG proceeds to raise to £12, MP and CO fold, hero makes it £27 and villain calls.
Flop: AcKJdd.
Top pair and nut flush draw, pot is around £60 and villain has c. £50 behind.
Hero leads for £35 with the intention of calling off, villain flats with £15-20 behind.
Turn 9s - Pot c. £140
Hero sets villain in for remaining £15-20, villain calls.
