1/1 6 handed. Table is very passive, a lot of limping pre flop.

Hero ($650) The table shows me respect. Very tricky player. Check-call alot on flop and pot control occasionally. Showdown mostly with TPTK and better.

V1 ($300) is a fat middle 20s guy super loose passive player. Vpip is almost 90%, play pretty tight post flop against me. I have 3b pre him 3 times and he folds to my 2 double barrel.

V2 ($600) is a TAG has a good hand selection preflop. Will not bluff much, but occasionally pull of some insane no story bluffs.

V1 straddle to $2, 1 fold, V2 open for $12, hero on btn calls with 87, 2 folds and V1 calls.

Flop 99T Check through

Turn 2 V1 bets $25, V2 folds, hero calls.

River K V1 bets $58, Hero raises to $228

With my image, the minimum hand im raising here is 9x, and i know V1 is capable of folding river raise with Tx and even AT..

Is this an ok bluff here?? What range of hands will you fold to hero river raise, according to my image??

Dunno why you feel the need to mix it up so hard against a bunch of clowns. IMO not worth the risk

I wouldn't. You may be repping that K but he will probably pay to see it. Especially after he has bet and i am not convinced you have a 9. I'd fold air and think hard about pair of 2's. Then again i wouldn't bet these either.

i have no idea, can't relate to this type of lag-ness and have no feel for how others would react to you... but how did you all get so deep in a 1/1 game??

you rep a 9 or boat - you never do this with a king - so he will put you on a boat - maybe a 9 - JQ - or nothing.

I don't even know if you raise this much with JQ or just a 9. So i'd say a boat or nothing.

Pretty good move.

Just concerned about what he's holding... He raised pre flop, after all. I'm guessing he has a Kx or some kind of PP and is probably going to call down ~175 with anything... At least I would. I wouldn't think you had a 9 if I was in his shoes.

V1 is the straddler

You call with 87s pre flop...then when you have a straight draw on the flop, and the original raisers checks even though there is a loose player in the hand, so you know all you have to do is sneeze at the pot to get him to fold...

the idea of building a pot against the loose does not dawn you...the idea of winning the pot now does not appeal to you.

V1 is passive and probably would slow play a 9 on the flop and check to the raiser every time...Now on the turn he bets into 2 players when a blank hits..

.and then when an over card comes that completes the major draw...he bets again....so he has to have something better then a 10 in his hand...and bluffs are unlikely as he is passive.....and just to make sure you know he has a real hand he bets over half pot and more then twice his turn bet, and i'm guessing $58 bets are big bets in your 1-1 game.

Don't bluff into strength, I'd be surprised to see him have less then a 9 in his hand..

Ah..

Still concerned. I'd steer clear. Pretty wet board overall with not even holding overs. I think it's a good move if he isn't holding high PP, any mid PP, a Kx, JQ... I just don't see this ever being too profitable.

Next hand. No?

I don't think you're repping a 9. If you had a 9, are you really checking the flop and just calling on the turn? Even if you say you're tricky and you would play a 9 just like this, the reason you'd do so is because you're trying to trick villain. From villain's perspective, you're really repping either a K or nothing. Feels like Villain has a T here and is calling.

Betting the flop is much better than checking the flop back and planning to turn your hand into a bluff when you don't get there.

As far as your line here, meh. I don't hate it. If he is a relatively straightforward TAG I wouldn't expect him to have that many strong hands in his range here. So, assuming he is your standard relatively non-thinking straightforward TAG that is just going to fold most of his range here, I'm okay with it.

If he can hand read at all your line is spew. You really don't rep anything. Contrary to the above post, I don't think you even rep a king, because (as you yourself said) someone with your image isn't likely raising a king on this river.

Decent hand you only rep by the river is JQ. 9's are betting the flop a certain amount of time and the turn 100% of the time unless you're perceived as a drooler. Bomb flop and turn, give up otr if the big guy calls you down. (because he's been giving up to your double barrels mainly - normally I would bluff flop, check turn and give up unimproved vs passives)
