Hi all,

We are saturday, I have playing for 4-5 hours at Vic at 1/1£, very soft table, no 3-bet light and a lot of multiway pot. A young Japanese joined the table 30 mins agos. I know him from a previous session.
He plays nearly every hand but does not do so much mistake postflop. He is very loose aggro.
Example: Last session, he called 3bet oop with 75o when you had AA and reraised you all-in on 7 5 2 flop.

We both have around 300bb.

HJ: I receive QJ. It's folded to you. I open 5bb
BTN: Villain flats
Blinds: calls

Everybody folds.

Flop: KT5 (pot = 22BB)

I bet 10BB. Villain calls. Blinds fold

Turn: K (pot = 42BB)

I opted for second barrel half pot. He calls.

River: 9 (Pot = 84BB)

I decided to bet 60bb to get call by KQ,KJ,K8, etc...
He reraises for around 150bb.

Would you have played it differently?
Should I check call that river?
Easy fold on the check raise?

Note that I am sure he would call barrel with flush draw.

I'd call. Since you are not close to playing for stacks most full houses would be looking to raise on the turn to maximize win potential. Unless he has specifically K9 I don't think he has a boat. Plus 90 more into 300 bbs is a good price, especially with an unexpected straight

I'm probably calling but in some certain instances I may raise if I think V will call w/ naked K. If V was boated by turn he should have raised flop or turn. As NCE said, unless you're up against exactly K9 I'm thinking you're ahead. If you're rolled and a donkey (like me), I may 3b shove the river. Possible can get him to lay down his half of the chop.

I would call river sounds like the kind of player that could raise all in with worse maybe any King

think you played it fine

Call.

This looks like a bluff a decent proportion of the time unless he has exactly K9 or QJ. KT and TT should be raising the flop.

Hero's own line looks rather bluffy (only representing narrow range of hands) and may have induced villain to spaz.

Thank you all responding me.

I actually folded and thought about it during days. I really regretted it when I saw your inputs.

Friday night, I started to sympathize with this same guy. And he admitted he had KT. Feels good
