1/1 6 way. Decent table. Nothing crazy going on, 3 hours into the game since the table started.

Hero view as Tag player.
V1 funky PF open size indicates hand strength, easy to read.

V1 straddle to 2
V2 is UTG+1 110BB calls 2
Hero is BTN 175BB Q9 raise to 9, fold fold V1 fold, V2 calls

Flop is J84
V2 donks 13, i call to float/make a move on the flush if a diamond hits. I have a BDFD as well. Besides i guess his range is capped to J. Perhaps TT/99? TT/99 raise PF tho..

Turn A
he checks, and i decided to check. (Need help later)

River 8
Which is perfect for me. Now he bets 28, i raise to 80 and he folded within 10s..

Question 1) Are we betting on turn Ace most of the time and barrel non J river.
Question 2) Are we barreling turn A and river A? No?
Question 3) Check turn take a free card? And bluff raise all diamond/7 river rep OESD should he bet.
Question 4) If he check blank river, are we bluffing? No i guess?

1. bet turn.
2. Yes (or K, or Q)
3. No, our equity sucks (Free card generally protects equity that we don't wanna be blown off of by a c/r)
4. If we bet turn, yes, we are betting river. AP, well we got lucky, and the river is another scare card, so yeah, bet. I don't like this as much if the river blanks and we haven't bet the turn. In that case, I'm probably not bluffing at it.

GL to you too!

Well first of all we need a read on v2. I'm assuming V2 has a fold button, otherwise you wouldn't be playing Q9s.

The donk bet is most likely Jx or, less likely, flush draw. You could be up against a set though.

Assuming v2 isn't some big fat calling station, consider raising the donk bet.

I see the float as a way of reversing the betting momentum. Which, ironically, is exactly what happened, didn't it? You lost the momentum. You had to make that bat-**** crazy bet otr to get it back.

You got the button, you got the momentum. What you don't got is cards. You have to bet. Don't let the fish run all over you.
