1/1/2 relatively passive table. hero sat down not too long ago.

Hero ($200) in SB w KQ. 3 Limpers Hero makes it $17. BB and limpers call

Flop: 5-handed $85. 9J3 Hero checks, checked around.
(How often should we be c-betting here? I figured it was pretty close between check/call and bet)

Turn: 5-handed $85 9J3 T Hero bets $45, folds around to button (biggest stack at table, has Hero covered, no real reads) Button thinks for a long time and then makes it $145. so pot is $275, $100 to call with $38 behind. Thoughts? any way we can fold? Standard shove?

Shove. He could easily have 2 pair here, or over card Flush draw. Get it in. Maybe thinking you can lay down a pair or 2 pair. You're ahead the majority of the time.

"Button thinks for a long time" in a passive game to me screams strength when the raise finally comes.

Really have to discount a flush here as he didn’t bet the flop. He will do that at some frequency. Thinking a long time to me seems more like a TT or 9T type hand. One that is genuinely unsure of what to do. Pretty easy GII here. If you’re beat, oh well.

My opinion of the hand would be the exact opposite of every sentence above. You're beat here a huge amount of the time and b/f was the right play. If he's raising anything less than a flush he's out of his mind, and given that this is a passive table I really doubt he's committing himself with a random 2 pair. Then again I have seen worse play (just not often enough to b/c this off).

Spoiler:
I shoved and he had the flush. At the time I thought being on the button after flop checked around he would bet a certain amount of flush draws. Thinking more about it, he would probably be betting an even greater amount of top pair/2 pair/sets since board is so wet and 5 handed. TT is really the only non-flush value raise that makes a lot of sense on the turn and even that is pretty optimistic on that board. Bluffs like AT or A9 w the ace of hearts also make sense (since he probably has every combo w A in his range) and if he was a good lag I would expect a decent amount of bluffs like that because my line was a little weird and the pot is already huge. But the more I think about it in this game the spot was probably a fold, though close

Curious if anyone has any comments about the flop check or lead on the turn?

FLOP check is good because it's a 5 way flop
If it's heads up we can bet with gutter and 2 overs

Turn lead is good because we get value from worse and can fold vs some opponents
