leroy,

i played like four hours of big bet last month (1/3-200 spread at the livermore casino HOLLAAAAAAAAAA), so i'm now totally an xprt.

i agree with xylo and think you are drawing for half the pot at best. ez fold.

more srsly, i like the pf flat and your reasoning for it.

the flop raise feels a little small but you have the pfr behind you and a pretty dry board (and the raise happened to clear out the field) so perhaps my feel is wrong.

not sure i like the turn check, esp without the T. i'd rather fire here and charge villain's lone and take a free showdown ui. i guess this opens us up to a c/r semibluff we couldn't call, which might negate an attempted value bet.

hard to imagine a 2/3 pot river bet being anything we beat (nutty line with flopped air or some weak combo draw?) so i suppose we have to fold. big bet is about winning stacks, not pots!

kero,

when a big guy and sometime five-miles-in-the-morning hiker says "hey this poutine is pretty good," a wise man knows to pick up a fork.

salutations from doug's basement! leaving shortly for rocky mountain np!

Yeah, I think this guy gives up with his 9x to a turn bet (Even if only $25 or whatever), but will call with his one card FD's and made flushes. I think he C/r semi-bluffs never and I can fold to a C/r or river donk. #hindsight

I'm curious what elevation you started seeing snow. Also, we could definitely use pictures of the 20' snow wall beside the road. One year I did Yellowstone, and there were spots in the pass with like 12'. 20 would be amazing, if it is that deep in RNP.

Let's start rumors about Breich and propagate these rumors until he comes back to defend his honor.

Dude hasn't been online since March. Anyone confirm his aliveness?

yes he's here holding it down in the 2016 las vegas babarhaus
06-10-2016 , 10:55 AM
Thanks.

I heard he got sick by eating over 32 jelly donuts in one sitting and exploded into a million little jelly pieces.

first of all and for the record, the 20' number was thrown at me by a ranger at the boulder district office for the roosevelt national forest. i'm just a guy passing through, completely flummoxed by how much snow you still have in mid-june preventing me from getting to all the cool hikes.

anyway, here's the best i could do with the tools available:

with a tyler_cracker for scale:

so i guess "only" ten feet of snow.

on the plus side, had my first moose sighting! these dudes were enjoying brunch about thirty yards[1] from the trail:

[1] that's about thirty meters in socialism units

06-11-2016 , 02:45 PM

babs,

alas that was weeks ago. the weather is better up here tho. also, moose.

breich,

my favorite thing about the 8/16 o8 is that it keeps all the douchebag regs away from the 4/8 o8.

Just like old times up in this bitch.

You guys in the micro limit lose 'em strava group need to step it up, and/or start reporting your gym time as exercises in strava. Field is getting lapped AFAIK.

Good to see TylerCracker both for realz and on 2+2.
