We have a new girl playing a lot. If she donked a board pairing turn it was always trips. If she donked a board pairing river it was always trips or if the river brought a flush it was always a flush. At least 5 times she donked into me when I had an over pair or two pair. I called down every time and lost.

When is the sample size high enough to start considering making an exploitative fold? I would assume if the pot is huge we just make a crying call. The stronger our hand the more likely we should call. I'd continue to call two pair hands since she could be value donking a worse two pair.

On a couple of the trip hands she did donk the flop with a pair and I raised and she called. She donks any pair on a flop. If she is just calling she is drawing. She plays every hand. She was on fire the other night and donked on several occasions into people other than me and had a big hand.

She has seen me call down every time. She knows I'm not folding. I would have to think that she could theoretically bluff this spot at some point.

BTW her turn raises have all been at least two pair.

I like to go “you got it?” and then make a judgement based on that. It only works if you’re really friendly, fwiw.

maybe you can fold if you dont spend the next hour thinking about whether you mucked the winner. a bit distracting if you do.

This is true. On the other hand, I spent about 5 hours wondering if I should be folding.

Donking any pair on the flop makes me think she has some spew potential. Also, rec players love to try to rep trips. I would not be folding strong pairs to her donks on paired boards. Based on your read so far, I would still continue calling her with top pair, good kicker. She doesn't sound hopelessly loose-passive. Also, I would expect her play to evolve fairly quickly as she watches how everyone else plays. Donking any pair on the flop and always donking trips on the big streets instead of check-raising is primitive, caveman type stuff. Finally, it sounds like she has been running pretty hot. Many rec players go bonkers once they are on runbad tilt. I don't trust her yet.

I am not folding good hands to her on paired boards for a single bet yet. But folding to her big streets raises sounds like a good plan for now. Bluff raising on the big streets is much more sophisticated and spewy which doesn't sound like her style yet.
