I feel like this is a fold pre flop. If I see some one raise A7s UTG 7 handed I would think that's pretty standard. I wouldn't necessarily think they had a wider than normal range. The only thing I've learned here is she is not a Nit. I don't like that you have several players still to act behind you. I'd like this hand a lot more if you were on the button and have more specific reads. The problem with this hand is it gets gross pretty quickly when someone calls or caps behind you.

As played, I would fold to the donk. It's a tight range spot and I'd prefer not trying to get into a guessing game as to where I'm at. I assume most players are gonna bet again on the turn so even if you are ahead you're probably gonna get bluffed off of it anyway.

i think preflop is fine vs this player on the button or CO. i would fold in all other positions.

im willing to be a 55-60/40-45 or so dog in position with blind dead money. theres also a good chance if villain think your a nit that he/she will fold all unpaired Ax hands to a flop + turn bet.

Thank you all for your replies. Sometimes I just want to “check my work” and seeing as this forum doesn’t get much traffic, I figure I can post any somewhat interesting hands without problem.

My instinct was obviously to fold. However there are some reads I omitted just to keep the thread less based on reads. I can see it is obviously trivial/standard to fold. Still I found the flop donk unexpected and I doubt this is standard in any game. So perhaps there was some potential for analysis based on range vs range. But most seem to only focus on LOL k-high.

What rake is this? That's the real answer pre and flop. Agree w your reasoning pre but may need to tighten up in Cali 8/16. Flop idk but our fringe continues probably have the Ks/Qs in them. Could cut both ways if she needs those for her suspected donking strat.
