two situations came up with K7s - 4/8 loose passive game - I have a tag image ...

1st - I'm utg - I open folded and would have made the flush otr - is this an open raise?

2nd - lag reg opens fr mp, fish calls, I fold it otb - MIHG on a 7 high board when lag takes down the pot w 55 ... is this a cold call here pf?

yes of course you're being results oriented. you played both hands fine. who cares what the board would have been?

i folded 72o one time when it was four bets to me pf and then the flop came 772. it was vegas with a five bet cap so clearly i should have five bet, right?

Your posts are clearly results oriented. "My hand was good" is no reason to play a hand you normally wouldn't play.

Hand 1 - K7s isn't an open UTG in a full ring game.
Hand 2 - Kxs might be closer, it depends on ranges. The fact that your flopped top pair of 7's won signifies what? How likely are you to make top pair with X as a kicker when X < 10 or so? With only one caller, it sounds like a good fold.

This thread is dangerously close to being a bad beat story, so one of the mods is pretty likely to lock it if the replies get into being low content.
