There maybe is an edge playing short in the blinds, but how is someone going to mis-read or tilt spew off his whole stack if you can't match it?

In many thousands of hours of live play, I've never seen someone other than myself go more than 5 big bets without the nuts.

Now, where is that commerce 40 picture...

Maybe they don't like or hate you enough? In many fewer hours than that, I've had two people that I recall hand over their full stacks with far less than the nuts.

Last year I went 8 bets with the nuts on the turn (a straight), as did my opponent, who just called my 8-bet. I was the one with a flush redraw!

Lol, I had a guy put in 2 racks on turn alone vs me with OESFD becusse he said he wanted to bust me if he got there and knew he could only get in 1 bet on the river.

Fairly legendary story at Foxwoods 20 where someone went 17 bets on the river with AA on some board that contained an ace and two 7's. You can likely guess what the other guy had.

Perhaps say a bit more, or a pic?
12-11-2015 , 04:07 PM
I had a guy go to the felt with a whole rack on the flop. I flopped top set, he had an open-ended straight draw. He caught it of course. Oaks 15/30 of course.
12-11-2015 , 04:23 PM
Biggest spew I've been a part of: I raise AA LP 3b I call. Flop A73 I c/r he calls. Turn 8 I b/3/5/7 he calls. River 8 I bet he raises I rage call but win.

Play it smart.

Thinking more, I could probably dig up come carbon hands with some "lolfelted" hands from online with unlimited raises.

Yeah, but how many?

Over like 200k on pre-BF stars, I had maybe 1-2 over 8 BB total and 0 over 10 BB total. I'm excluding random hands at 2c/4c where people would just raise/cap with 8 high because it was 2c/4c and not because they were trying.

I'm talking about a site with unlimited raises, so actually felted on a street. Probably a few. Say 3<N<10? In fewer than 10K hands total on the site. Online, smallish stakes, so .25/.50 to 2/4 or so. Don't really recall. It is different than live 20/40, because the absolute $ are so much smaller and people might not have cared to wait for 4 week cashouts.

My real DB is on an old computer, and it isn't exciting to go dig this stuff up. KL03 said "in thousands of hours, never", and I'm saying "here's a black swan". Not that it happens all the time. I can recall at least a couple cases live and a few cases online where people didn't need the nuts to punt off everything they had. I think on carbon I might have posted a hand where I got AIPF with AA vs. Kxs.

I once had a hand where every round got capped on J77-9-T. I had 77. Other dude had AA. I missed the "no cap HU" policy then.

Unimpressed.

My last cap on every street online was against 97s on a TJ6A9 board.

I don't think anyone has ever 5 bet me post without the nuts but I'm rarely going to 4 bet post either

I probably had 15 or so where I got in 5+ bets on either the turn or river. And some of them I didn't have the nuts and still won just b/c some villains are that special. This is back when Carbon games were uncapped when HU. I probably only had less than 50,000 hands for this period.
