A Reverse LAG? A Reverse LAG?

Full Tilt 3/6 Hold'em (7 handed)

Villian is button--101 hands 20.79/8.91/2.25 and has been overly aggressive in more than a few spots (3 betting AQo OOP, j9o, etc.) when this hand comes up.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K, A.
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, Button 3-bets, SB calls, BB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 4, 9, K (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 5 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds.

River: (11 BB) 2 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button raises, SB folds, Hero?

Am I missing something here?

I'd cap preflop and c/r flop as played - Btn is aggro and should c-bet this dry-ish board pretty often when checked to, no?. Flop checking through would be bad but any whiffed AJ/AQ is drawing nearly dead vs you, pocket pair have 2 outs, 9x is the only probable hand with 5 outs.

As played call the river - more a sanity call than expecting to win. A slowplayed set is pretty likely.

If I didnt cap pf, I c.r the flop vs an aggrotard.

If I cap pf (which I would not have in this spot), I lead the flop, as a c/r looks too suspicious.

On the river, a call is a must.

I considered CR the flop but given his aggressiveness was actually hoping to limp reraise (right or wrong) here.

I did call here and he turns over KK I actually was thinking K9o

I'm thinking he lost a couple of value bets along the way, but I was surprised to see him play it this way after what he showed prior.

cap pf. you are missing too much value when the sb and bb call the 3bet. if it was HU, not capping for deception value is an option, but against a guy that's overaggro and thus gives action anyway it probably has less merit.

i like the flop bet because he'll raise alot of worse hands and help you get it HU in a big pot.
