Good lag player opens, I three bet black queens bad player cold calls the button.

Flop is 8c7c5x

I bet call good player check raises I call other dude calls.

Turn 3x

Good player bets, i raise, button folds, three bet and I fold.

I would call down most good players here, people should be 3 betting with combo draw sometimes, and some might even 3 bet a worse pair

so LAG can only have sets and straights here? otherwise seems like a bad fold.

i just call turn, i dont think this is a board we want to go nuts with vs. 2 people

Best line depends on where the good lag opens. The earlier, the more I just bc c c.

With the Qc in hand I'd give a little more consideration to 3b flop than without it. Of course, you have to believe BU can fold stuff. YMMV.

As played I think protection raise is close to mandatory but always to call turn. You can fold to a club/6/9 if you're really hopeless, otherwise show down. I read CL as agreeing.

Id probably 3bet flop X% of time generally above 50% based on game history vs LAG & similar spots during current session.

As played, I play bad so would call turn.

River as played, too much game history vs LAG for me to fold which is most definitely wrong based on run out.

I definitely 3bet the flop. It's just a classic protection spot where we can make button miserable when he has 2-5 outs, and we are still well ahead of the check-raiser. Delaying until the turn doesn't make much sense to me.

Raise-folding the turn is atrocious against a "good LAG". A good LAG is going to be very aware of your awful tendency to bloat and fold and will delightfully (and correctly) seek to decapitate you in these spots for the rest of your life if you continue playing like this. This is the worst possible player type to make big folds against in such spots.

We have to call down the turn 3bet after taking this weird line.

I would 3bet this flop 1000% of the time - the texture is not right to delay and you have a third player in there. If the EP player 4bets or check raises turn you can just call down and see what happens.
