I have been playing Limit for more then 3 years (all brick and mortar) I am playing mostly 3/6 and occasionaly 4/8 and 5/10 I am a consistant loser. I know what I am doing wrong (way to many hands, playing out of position and I let my emotions get the best of me) What I am looking for is a recomendation on a way to retrain myself. A way to get myself to play the basics properly without thinking about it and then I can explore the more detailed side of the game. Any and all help would be appreciated.
Small Stakes Hold'em is availible for purchase on this site and elsewhere on the internet. Ed Miller's book is considered the nuts for starting live play.
Read the FAQ on the limit Hold'em forums.
Keep detailed records.
Post hands.

I'd also consider depositing a small amount of money on Poker Stars and playing micro limits. Then you can do session reviews and get some free, high quality coaching. Deposit $50 (or less) and start out at .02/.04.
It looks like you need more psychology advice than hand advice. I'd suggest Zen of Poker or the Psychology of Poker. Maybe someone could let us know if the Tommy Angelo book would help, I haven't read it.
