Re: Pre flop check up posts.

Still folding J5s. I'd play JTo, weakest offsuit hand I generally play.

Re: Pre flop check up posts.

UTG limps...She could have some strongish hands like AJo, KQo, but the rest is a ton of suited hands as low as 7Ts, small pairs below 77's, KTo etc. She is pretty straightforward post. She will continue to the river if she catches a piece...gutters, pairs, decent over cards. If she shows aggression she has a made hand. She may donk draws.

The player two my left is very loose and often calls 2 and 3 bets. He telegraphs his raises pre.

Everyone else is bad reg types.

She limps UTG, folded to me in the HJ The guy to the left is not telegraphing a raise but could call......What should I be doing with J9s, 55's, A5s, QTo?

Tight UTG opens, all call. Do you call with A3o? K3o?

Do you guy's raise these in the HJ assuming it's folded to us in a typical game?

I usually open QJo+ 55+ A9o+ A5s+

Is this about right? I can see adding A4s.

Thatís exactly what my chart says, but I like suited Aís, so I throw those in for fun. Youíre on the right track imo.

Re: Pre flop check up posts.

UTG... is a pre flop maniac. He raises about 80% of the time. He does limp once in a while. He will put in the last bet often when given the chance if reraised but sometimes just calls.
Post flop he is super agro but needs to have a little something to continue. He way over plays hands. He will fold early in the hand if he completely whiffs. He will call any number of bets if he has any chance to win.

HJ....He is Laggy preflop but plays well post flop. He is 3 betting even wider here given the situation. He seems to peel pretty lightly on the flop but will also turbo much some board textures since he has such a wide range that could miss.

I am in the CO with As8s. The button is a TAG, the blinds are both fairly loose passive. If I were to cap here I suspect the rest of the players will fold unless they wake up with something really good.

Is this enough hand to cap it up? Intuitively I feel like A9s is the sweet spot. Both of these hands are around 33% against what I believe to be the UTG and HJ ranges.

I don't understand this response.

If you fold the A8s here how big would your kicker need to be to consider capping?

Re: Pre flop check up posts.

In the big blind. Hj raises, CO, BTN, and SB call. Do we have a three betting range that doesn’t include QQ+? Would we sometimes raise speculative hands for deception like little pairs or suited-connected broadways? Or should we call with our entire continuing range being OOP but with best relative position?

Re: Pre flop check up posts.

Well to me itís not immediately obvious which hands those would be. Which hands would go in your bb 3bet range given that we are basically making a pot building raise?

You could do something like,
TT+, ATs+, KQs, QJs, JTs, T9s, AQo+

Is the goal to play these hands relatively fit or fold post-flop?

Iím close to this. I add 99 because f them all.

I just call with qjs through t9s though

You donít need the best hand right now. Getting 4 others to put in money now is an immediate win with good hands.
