The skill difference between .25/.50 and $2/$4 is enormous online.
Do you know of any resources or communities that are active with plenty of information? Maybe even a recommended site that focuses specifically on limit poker?
what's the current rake in these games? and are there one or more clearly bad players (making big mistakes) per table at these stakes? if rake is not too onerous, and you can get direct position on a bad player, then i'd expect things to be beatable. however, regardless of rake, if every table is full of 30/20 type guys and there are no big fish, then it's going to be a tough slog
