Just curious, do you think the grammar of African American Vernacular English is incorrect?

Relative to what has been globally taught and accepted as "proper" English, yes.

Well I don't think there's such a thing as proper English. The only meaningful difference I can see between "proper" languages and "other" languages is the former is backed by an army and the latter isn't.

One of the books I'm currently reading is this one. Lots of Chomsky references in it.

At this point you have about as much credibility as a standard radio show call-in conspiracy nut.

I'm sorry to get back to poker but could any of the 15/30+ regs give me advice as to how I should be adjusting from 10/20->15/30? I'm really struggling at 15/30 over the minuscule hands I've played there.

It could be possible that I am playing scared due to the fact that 10/20 is my main game and in my mind I am taking a shot whenever I play a great 15/30 game.

If any of you who moved up from 10/20->15/30+ could give me any advice that would be very helpful. My bad if this post doesn't belong here.

Just sit at any table I'm at and mash the raise button every time I put a dime in the pot.

****, I just gave away the secret to online poker.

Seriously there is no real adjustment to be made. The game will be a tincy bit tougher, but just play the same game you won at 10/20 with (assuming you have enough sample to prove you are a winner there) and you will surely be a winner at 15. There is not a general adjustment you should be making. The adjustment will be according to the player types you will encounter. It will take a while to get used to the different regulars at 15 and if you start out running bad it will make you feel like you arent playing properly, but the truth is that you are uncomfortable with the unfamiliarity and running bad with more at stake isnt helping matters.

You'll be fine. Just play your game, and play with within your bankroll.

Also, except for bankroll considerations, forget about what limit you're playing. There's really only two types of games: Beatable games and unbeatable games. Stick to the former and you'll do fine. I've seen 25 cent/50 cent games I would get crushed at and I've seen $50/$100 games I could get rich off of (if they ran like that every day). Limits are meaningless. Edge is everything.

Well our country just changed way to much. We now have a liberal congress and a liberal president and will shortly have a liberal Supreme Court. This is bad news for the country. IMO Never good to let things get out of balance. At least with a liberal congress and conservative president or vice versa they can't screw everything up. Welcome to the new USA, I mean the new United Socialist Association. I would like to send my congrats to our new president. Well done President Pelosi, please allow us to keep our first and second ammendment rights. I know this will be a challenge for you, but I beg you.

Ha! Yeah for most of last night I was 3 tabling one 50/100 game and two 3-6 games. In my honest opinion, I couldn't tell which game was softer.
