After the flop, I am some sort of draw, flush or straight. Do I figure the odds for each remaining card or do I figure the odds as if two cards remaining?

If you are deciding just to call (i.e., you aren't considering a raise based on your fair share of equity or as a semi-bluff), than you would normally do it street by street.

However, there are a couple of exceptions:

1. If someone behind you figures to raise, you should take that into account and perhaps fold a draw that would otherwise be a marginal call.

2. If the table will often check the turn through, you can call with some draws that would be marginal folds (because you will get 2 cards rather than 1 for your call often enough).

Count how many outs you have. With one card to come multiply your outs by 2. With two cards to come multiple your outs by 4.

Yabbut that's not the question.

If you are going to see a river card, you need to include the turn action in your risk/reward calculation if you are making your go/no go decision on the flop.

If you are going to peel one card and fold if you miss, go by the single-card odds, but think about the implied odds from the turn and river action if you do manage to hit.

ETA: Rodeo, are you implying that active duty AF isn't cool?
