Loose 8/16 table with some wild moments.
We've been at the table for only an hour. BTN is very LAG and played every hand for the past orbit. He seemed to be playing reasonable before that so I don't know if he's on a heater or what. Post flop he has called two cold in a small pot on the flop with only overs and a one card back door nut flush draw. I've seen some other screwy plays by him too trying to bluff the stations etc.
In small blind with AsJs.
UTG limps
MP raises
CO calls
BTN calls
Hero calls
BB calls
Maybe I should've 3 bet? AQs I definitely do.
Flop 12 small bets:
Ah9h7h
Hero checks
Checked to button who bets
Hero raises
Folded to button
BTN 3!
Hero calls
Turn 9 big bets:
Jc
Hero?
Check call still? Check raise? I know I'm seeing a showdown but not sure how much more to put in.

I’d probably just call the flop.

If he is very agro I'm not worried about him having a set assuming he would 3 bet one of the possibilities pre.
I like the flop CR. It's a big pot and I'd like to protect my hand. The lag doesn't have to have much to bet here. If he is the type to take a free card I would 4 bet the flop. If he is the type to bet again on the turn I would call and CR the turn.
As played I would CR the turn or donk if I feared a check back.
Your read of the MP raiser should guide you to whether you should 3 bet pre or not. My initial thought was to 3 bet. As played realize your hand is a bit stronger than it might appear based on your call pre.

I can see an argument for check call down and c/r a safe turn to charge his draws but I hate getting raised here so I likely just call down and let him barrel his missed draws.

He’s betting into five people who are also allowed to have hands.
