Did have 1 beer if I recall so maybe flop call was suspect but think I had redraw which makes it a c/r on flop better at some %?

With Kd I think flop peel is just fine but hate a c/r

In theory. Think river chk/c is pretty bad vs A.

Not sure about turn c/r > chk/c on turn > reevaluate until run out on river

Eh, worst card in the deck for you on river, but it didn’t complete flush. Hard to fold getting 8 to 1 but there isn’t much you beat.

I know this may be blasphemy, but I am not a fan of the turn c/r without some sort of weakness tell. Villain's worst Kx is going to be K9s or K8s for a lot of players. And even if some smaller Kxs hands are in there, it's not an especially juicy check-raise. Our equity here is 55ish at best and significantly less than 50 against plenty of players.

I would not give villain credit for having a super balanced bot-like range in this spot. Just betting the turn makes the most sense to me. If villain is making a spewy turn bet, we have tons of potential check-calls that are almost never folding river.

As played, it is a really gross spot. I think we can just check-fold since it would be so bizarre for villain to turn K8 into a bluff or some such. If he checked back a smaller pair, didn't fold it to the turn raise, and turns it into a bluff, good for him I guess.

I was thinking about what my betting range on the turn was here. And I’m certainly betting AJ, AQ and QJ as well as 99

+1.

Had 0 reads and figured it'll make it easier on future hands but 100% agree equity too low for turn c/r. Also agree 100% river should be chk/f but I play bad
