I like the idea of removing certain hands from my EP opening range. Would remove 77, KQos, and ATos from UTG to account for the kill, which is essentially a dead straddle in a high rake environment (like in CA games).

Just to clarify for anyone in New England, the following:

This is not true at Foxwoods. The only kill game left that goes semi-regularly is 5/10 O8, where the kill is activated by a scooped pot of at least $80.

They also used to run a 5/10 HE kill @ $100, and Mohegan ran a 5/10 HE with the kill @ $60.

If either place runs a kill LHE game on request, they follow the old rules.
